GA-60 Suches to Blue Ridge

GA-60 runs roughly 47 miles north from Stonepile Gap near Dahlonega through the Suches valley to the town of Blue Ridge, following the contours of the Toccoa River and various creeks through the Chattahoochee National Forest. The southern stretch through the Six-Gap zone delivers tight mountain curves; above Suches the road opens into flowing river-canyon sweepers with heavy tree cover and very light traffic. Woody Gap, a named Appalachian Trail crossing, marks the midpoint.
