GA-75 Unicoi Turnpike
GA-75 runs 33 miles south-to-north from Cleveland through Helen and over Unicoi Gap (2,949 ft) to the North Carolina border near Hiawassee, gaining and losing over 1,000 feet on each side of the gap. The Helen-to-gap section twists through wide sweepers and short-radius corners approaching true switchbacks; above the gap the road drops steeply into the Hiwassee River valley. GA-75 forms the eastern leg of the Russell-Brasstown National Scenic Byway loop when combined with GA-348 and GA-180.
