KY-32 — Morehead to Louisa
Kentucky Route 32 runs roughly 80 miles from Morehead (I-64 Exit 137, Rowan County) east to Louisa in Lawrence County through the mountain forests of northeastern Kentucky. The road is two-lane blacktop with consistent curves, mountain ridgeline views, and a long stretch beside Yatesville Lake in Lawrence County — a reservoir ringed by forested hills that makes for some of the best lake-view riding in the state. Traffic is light given the rural character of the corridor; gas and food stops are few, so a full tank leaving Morehead is recommended. Spring and fall foliage seasons are the peak riding window.
