Gunflint Trail National Scenic Byway

A 57-mile paved dead-end road from Grand Marais through Superior National Forest to Trail's End at the edge of the Boundary Waters — ride it out and back for roughly 115 miles. There is no fuel at the far end, so top off in Grand Marais and watch for moose, especially at dawn and dusk.
