CR-513 — Frenchtown to Chester Horse Country

County Route 513 is a 66.83-mile county highway running from Frenchtown (Hunterdon County) north through Morris and into Passaic County, with its most celebrated section being the 31-mile stretch between Frenchtown and Chester. The road rolls through limestone ridge terrain with bubbling streams, stone walls, and large horse estates — more pastoral and less technical than the northwest Highlands routes. A mix of short straights and engaging sweepers through classic central-NJ fox-hunting country. The route traces the old Washington Turnpike alignment.
