CR-519 Skylands — Phillipsburg to High Point
County Route 519 is an 88-mile north-south rural two-lane road through Hunterdon, Warren, and Sussex counties — one of NJ's most celebrated long-distance touring roads. The route alternates between rolling dairy farms, wooded ridgelines, and river valley overlooks with views of the Delaware Water Gap. Speed limits range 15–55 mph with sweeping bends that follow the Highland contours. The full corridor from Phillipsburg (near the PA border) north to High Point covers roughly 60 riding miles with almost no traffic lights.
