NJ Route 94 runs 45.9 miles from the Portland-Columbia Toll Bridge at the Pennsylvania border north to the New York state line near Vernon Township, passing through Warren and Sussex counties. The road traverses mountain and valley terrain, opening into the broad Vernon Valley (ringed by the Kittatinny Mountains and ski ridges) before becoming increasingly wooded northward. Wide-open, gentle turns through farmland south; more wooded and winding toward Vernon. Passes through Blairstown and Newton.
