Ocean Drive — Cape May to Ocean City

Ocean Drive is a 50-mile series of connected local and county roads (incorporating CR-619, CR-621, CR-656, and NJ-147/152 segments) running along New Jersey's southern barrier islands from Cape May north to Ocean City. The route crosses five Cape May County toll drawbridges ($2.50 per crossing), traversing the coastal communities of Wildwood, Stone Harbor, Avalon, and Sea Isle City with constant Atlantic Ocean and bay views. A distinct, flat, island-hopping coastal ride that contrasts with every other NJ route on the atlas — the Jersey Shore equivalent of the Florida Keys Overseas Highway.
