Lynn's Place

A family-owned diner on East Main Street in downtown Robbinsville, Lynn's Place has been cooking from family recipes since March 2003 — over two decades of feeding locals and road-trippers alike. The menu is straightforward Carolina mountain comfort: hand-cut steaks, fresh-ground burgers, pork chops, a salad bar stocked with freshly cut vegetables and seasonal fruit, and rotating homemade desserts. Everything is cooked to order. The room itself is unfussy — a small-town diner in the truest sense — and that's exactly what most riders want after a morning of concentrated riding.

Robbinsville sits at the intersection of three roads that draw motorcyclists from across the country: US-129 (Tail of the Dragon), the Cherohala Skyway (NC-143), and Wayah Road. That geography makes Lynn's Place the natural gathering point for lunch and dinner, and the parking outside tends to reflect it. Kitchen hours run Monday through Friday starting at 11 a.m., with the kitchen staying open until 8:30 p.m. most weeknights and 9 p.m. on Fridays — enough of a window to make it work whether you're ending a full-day loop or catching an early dinner before pushing on.
