One of the Midwest's longest-running all-brand rallies, now in its 55th year, with organized guided rides into the Driftless Area and central Wisconsin — plus three nights of camping, a Saturday banquet, and a beer garden at Sky High Camping Resort.
Put on by Wisconsin's largest BMW motorcycle club, this September gathering has been running since the early 1970s and welcomes riders on any make or model. The 55th edition moves to Sky High Camping Resort near Portage, a wooded campground set in the Baraboo Bluffs with water and electric hookups at every site, hot showers, fire pits, and shade.
On the ground, the schedule runs Thursday through Sunday with a Friday brat feed, a Saturday banquet dinner, live music, a beer garden, 50/50 raffles, door prizes, and rally merchandise. The Dave Maly Memorial Ride is the named guided outing, and the surrounding area puts riders within reach of the Driftless Region — glacially untouched terrain characterized by river valleys, limestone bluffs, and winding county roads. Riders on those roads should watch for farm machinery and horse-drawn Amish buggies, particularly on rural county routes.
Pre-registration saves meaningful money versus gate pricing, and the fee covers camping for all three nights. Dogs are welcome on leash.
