Medicine Wheel Passage (US-14A)

A 27-mile designated National Scenic Byway along US-14A, the northernmost route across the Bighorn National Forest. The road climbs a steep 10% grade from Lovell on the Big Horn Basin floor to Burgess Junction at over 8,000 ft, with sustained switchbacks, truck turnoffs, and panoramic views of the Absaroka Mountains. Named for the 800-year-old Medicine Wheel National Historic Landmark near the summit.
