Exit Glacier — Kenai Fjords NP

A short 8-mile spur off the Seward Highway at Mile 3 leads to the only road-accessible section of Kenai Fjords National Park. Paved trails reach the glacier face; the Glacier Overlook Loop (1.6 mi each way) gives a close-up view of the ice and the vast Harding Icefield above. Nature Center open seasonally with rangers on-site.

The spur road is smooth and easy; the payoff is one of the most approachable glaciers in North America — park, walk 20 minutes, and stand in front of a river of ice.
