Coronado Trail (US-191) "Devil's Highway"
Clifton/Morenci to Springerville, ~123 mi. **Widely considered the most technical paved road in America** — 400+ named switchbacks, 10–15 mph posted corners north of Morenci, climbs from 3,400 ft to 9,300 ft. Almost no traffic, no guardrails on drop-offs. Rideable on a Road Glide but demanding; no fuel for ~90 mi between Clifton and Alpine. Best April–October; Hannagan Meadow holds snow Nov–April.
