M-123 Tahquamenon Scenic Byway

A 63-mile designated Scenic Heritage Route running through Michigan's eastern Upper Peninsula, from M-28 near Newberry north through old-growth forest to the village of Paradise on Whitefish Bay. The byway passes Tahquamenon Falls State Park — home to the 200-foot-wide Upper Falls, one of the largest waterfalls east of the Mississippi — and continues along the Lake Superior shoreline near Paradise. The route's U-shaped alignment and forested corridor make it a natural anchor for eastern UP motorcycle loops. Part of the Lake Superior Circle Tour.
