A James Beard Foundation 'America's Classic' (2007) that has operated out of the same ramshackle building on Nelson Street since 1941. Customers walk through the kitchen to reach their table; the tamales are Delta-style and the charcoal-seared porterhouses are legendary. Still family-run by the Signa family.

Jeff Busby Site — Little Mountain Overlook

The only true overlook on the Mississippi section of the Natchez Trace Parkway, atop Little Mountain at milepost 193.1. A 0.8-mile trail climbs to 584 ft elevation; on a clear day the view stretches roughly 20 miles across the ridges and valleys of central Mississippi. NPS-managed with restrooms, picnic tables, and an 18-site campground.
