Gulf Coast Scenic Byway (US-90)

US-90 runs roughly 80 miles along Mississippi's Gulf Coast through Hancock, Harrison, and Jackson counties, connecting Bay St. Louis, Pass Christian, Long Beach, Gulfport, Biloxi, and Ocean Springs. The road fronts the Gulf of Mexico for most of its length — what was once the world's longest man-made beach stretches between Henderson Point and Biloxi — and crosses high-level spans over St. Louis Bay and Biloxi Bay rebuilt after Hurricane Katrina. Towns alternate between antebellum waterfront architecture, working fishing harbors, and casino strips, with salt air and bay views throughout. Officially recognized as the Beach Boulevard Scenic Byway through its Gulf Coast Heritage Area corridor.
