Logan Pass Visitor Center sits at the 6,646-foot crest of Going-to-the-Sun Road, the high point of the most famous alpine road in the Rockies, inside Glacier National Park. For riders crossing the park it is the de facto turnaround and photo stop — the summit payoff of the whole climb.
Timing matters more here than at most stops. The alpine section only opens once plowing is finished, typically late June into early July, so the riding window is short. For 2026, the park is adding ticketed three-hour parking at the pass from July 1 through September 7.
Check the road status and any parking or ticketing requirements before you ride up — the pass is weather- and season-dependent, and access rules are changing.
