Castle Hill Lighthouse
A stubby 1890 granite lighthouse perched on the rocky Castle Hill headland where Narragansett Bay meets the Atlantic. Accessible via a short walk off Ocean Drive, it marks the western entrance to Newport Harbor and offers panoramic water views in three directions. The surrounding grounds of Castle Hill Inn are open to visitors on foot.
Sits directly off Ocean Drive — park at the Castle Hill Inn lot and walk 10 minutes to the light. One of the most photographed lighthouses in New England and a worthy pause on any Ocean Drive run.
