White Bird Hill Summit Overlook

Sweeping panoramic overlook at 4,245 ft on US-95, marking the divide between the Salmon River and Camas Prairie. The historic White Bird Grade below is a legendary switchback descent — the old road winds 11 miles with 13% grades. Multiple pullouts with interpretive signs explain the 1877 Battle of White Bird Canyon. Views reach deep into the canyon carved by the Salmon River.
