A legendary open-air clam shack on the shore of Narragansett Bay in Portsmouth's Island Park neighborhood, open seasonally since 1936. Known statewide for whole-belly fried clams served at outdoor picnic tables a stone's throw from the water. The original Drive-In is open Thursday–Sunday, 11am–8pm, seasonal.

Decades-old motorcycle destination on the back roads north of Newport. Riders on the Aquidneck Island circuit hit it as an alternative to the crowded Newport waterfront — outdoor seating, no pretension, and arguably the best fried clams in the state.

The southernmost tip of Conanicut Island in Jamestown, featuring the 1856 Beavertail Lighthouse and dramatic open-ocean cliff-side overlooks. Four formal viewpoints plus miles of walkable rocky coastline give riders a genuine Atlantic headland experience. The short Beavertail Road from Jamestown village is a sweeping, low-traffic run through coastal farmland to the cliffs.

The southwesternmost tip of Aquidneck Island where Ocean Drive bends hard at the Atlantic. An 89-acre former estate with open grassy headlands, rocky shoreline, and sweeping views of Block Island Sound and passing sailboats. The classic turnaround on the 10-mile Ocean Drive loop — riders pull off on the wide shoulder to take in the view before heading back up the coast.

A stubby 1890 granite lighthouse perched on the rocky Castle Hill headland where Narragansett Bay meets the Atlantic. Accessible via a short walk off Ocean Drive, it marks the western entrance to Newport Harbor and offers panoramic water views in three directions. The surrounding grounds of Castle Hill Inn are open to visitors on foot.
